The IPT Violations Setup module is used to establish the notice and violation codes that users reference when they create Notice/Violation records in the IPT Facilities and IPT Facility Inspection modules.
Common Tasks
To access the Violation Setup module, select Environmental Compliance > Industrial Pretreatment > Setup > Violation Setup.
Open the Environmental Compliance > Industrial Pretreatment > Setup > Violation Setup module.
Click the button in the module toolbar. The IPT Violation Setup form appears.
Enter a unique, alphanumeric code (20 char. or less) in the Violation field (required).
Briefly describe the nature of the violation in the Violation Description field (required; 254 char. or less).
Save and close the record. The new Violation appears in the IPT Violation Setup grid, as well as in the IPT Facilities and IPT Inspection modules' Notices and Violations forms.
