Modifying Ratings

You can modify these ratings in the Inspection Setup module.  This is useful if you are concerned about a certain defect and you want all pipes that display that defect to have higher structural ratings.

To modify ratings, complete the following steps:

1. Select the defect you wish to edit in the Inspection Setup module.
2. Right-click on that the defect and select Edit Record.
3. Change the ratings.
4. Click  to save the changes.
5. Click to close the window.

Important: If you edit a rating, the change will only affect data from that point on (i.e. past data will not be affected) unless you run the "Recalc All" option (under System Tools).  Recalc All will reevaluate your inspection results based on your new criteria.
