Analyzing Ratings (Running Reports)

There are several ways to analyze these ratings.  You can run a report on the ratings and determine where there are any obvious breakpoints in condition ratings. This allows you to view a group of pipes based on their condition: really bad, bad, okay, good, excellent.

To create a report based on Structural Ratings, complete the following steps:

  1. Open the TV Inspection module.
  2. Create a filter by sorting the records by Structural Rating in descending order.
  3. Hit "Go." The record set will open.
  4. Click on the module toolbar to open the Report window.
  5. Select the "TV Line Summary" report and run it on the current filter.  The worst  pipes will appear at the top of the report.

Note: You can export this report to a PDF or tab delimited file if you want to open it in a spreadsheet program.

  6. Complete steps 1-5 again using different filters (sort by Flow Rating for one filter and sort by  Cleaning Rating for another).
