In ArcCatalog, system administrators can easily remove a layer from the predefined layer list.
Make sure that the Lucity GIS toolbar is loaded and select the layer you want to add in ArcCatalog. When selecting from the tree view in ArcCatalog you will only be able to remove one layer at a time.
It is possible to remove multiple layers from the predefined layer list at one time by selecting the desired layers in the “Contents” view and right click as shown below.
Once you have selected all of the layers you want to add, select Lucity Predefined Layer > Remove Lucity Predefined Layer from the Lucity GIS toolbar.
The selected layers will be removed from the predefined layer list. The results will be displayed in a dialog similar to below.
Note: If you tried to remove a layer whose file path doesn't exist in the predefined layer list you will receive the message “XXX was not removed. The file does not exist in Lucity CMPDL.” Purging the predefined layer list will verify if the predefined layer’s path exist.
Click Close when you are finished viewing the results.
