Adding to the Pick List

You can add domain items to the pick lists in Lucity™ in order to correct domain discrepancies.  This is useful if you would like to add specific domains to Lucity as the Synch Domains tool will synch all domains for the selected feature classes (i.e. you cannot pick and choose among the domains to synch).

Example: If you have a Sewer Pipe line type that appears in the map but not in the desktop, you can add that particular domain to the pick list in the desktop.  

Follow the steps below to add to the pick list:

1. Login to Lucity.
2. Open the module where you have found a domain discrepancy (i.e. Sewer, Street, Water, etc.).  For our example, we'll open the Pipe Inventory module by selecting Sewer > Inventory > Pipe.

   

3. On the Attributes tab, you will see a field captioned Line Type.  For our example, this is the pick list you will want to add to in order to correct the domain discrepancy.
4. Click on the caption button.  The pick list will appear:

   

5. To add a new line type, click .

   

6. In the Input Dialog, enter a new Code and Description for you additional line type.  

   Note:  This should match the line type that is found in your domain discrepancy report, but is currently missing from the desktop.  This code and description is user- defined.

7. Click OK and the new line type will be added to the pick list.
