This tab contains observation data on sidewalks and driveway approaches. Here, you can record observations for both the Northwest and Southeast sections of sidewalk. To track sidewalk data, you can record the sidewalk type, dimensions, and distance from the curb. To track data on driveway approaches you can record the number of driveway units that cross this section of sidewalk.
Note: All of the sidewalk and driveway approach data in this tab is carried over to the Subsegments module.
In addition, this tab contains six fields that are not carried over to the Subsegments: Sdwlk Cond NW, Sdwlk Cond SE, SW Rpl Est NW, SW Rpl Est SE, DW Rpl Est NW, and DW Rpl Est SE. The first two fields allow you to record condition data for your sidewalks. The last four fields allow you to record replacement estimates. You can include the estimated number of driveway units that need replaced as well as an estimate in linear feet of the length of sidewalk replacement needed. The Supersegments module then sums the total of all replacement estimates for all attached subsegments.
