Fleet Status Tracking Grid

Fleet Status Tracking allows you to log the status of a vehicle.  For example, if a vehicle has been sent to an external shop for special repairs, you can create a status record logging the date and time of those repairs.  Additionally, anytime the fleet vehicle's status changes in the header, the system automatically adds that change to this grid.

To log the status of a vehicle, complete the following steps:

  1. Right click in the Fleet Status grid and select Add Record. The following window will appear:

    Status Tracking

  2. Select the Operating Status from the available pick list.

Note:  When the Operating Status is changed in the Header, the Operating Status in the Fleet Status Tracking records will be updated automatically.

  3. Enter the units since failure, date, time, and description.

Note:  When you enter a value in the Units Since Failure field, the system will sum these values and divide them by a count of all records where the value is greater than 0.  This will provide the average or mean.  This will be entered in the MTBF field in the Tracking grid.  By pressing F5, you can recalculate this value.

  4. Click to save the record.
  5. Click to escape Add Mode.
  6. Click to close the window.

To view, edit, or delete a vehicle status record, right click on the record and select View Record, Edit Record, or Delete Record.
