Customer Address Header Data

The header fields contain general information to identify and describe and locate each facility. It appears the top of the module window and remains visible as users navigate through the modules tabs.

Field Name

Definition

Address ID

This is a system-generated, unique identification number.

Property ID

This field stores the property ID for the location. This is used to link the address to utility modules. This is required when an address is used as an asset on a Work Order or Request.

Commercial Checkbox

This checkbox classifies each record as a commercial or non-commercial client. This checkbox is automatically marked if the Business Name field is populated.

Business Name

This field stores the business name for the location/address. If this field is populated, the system assumes that the address is commercial and the Commercial checkbox will be automatically marked.

Out of Area

This is a flag field that allows users to save an address with an invalid Street name. This fields functionality is based on a General Option.

Invalid Address

This is a flag field that is set to true if an address saved contains an invalid street address. This field is read-only.

Address*

The address fields are used to link this record to some utility records.

The street name portion of the address is checked against the Street Name List module to make sure that it is correct. If an street name is entered that doesn't match the street name list the lettering will be red. This validation function is based on a General Option. Click the Address button or click in the field and hit F9 for a popup list of valid street names.
