This section contains data on the Equipment Inventory, Equipment Inspections, and Equipment Readings modules. Below, we've identified the basic relationships between the Equipment and Fleet modules. Follow the links at the bottom of the screen for details.
Module Relationships
Each Equipment record can have one Fleet asset linked to it.
Each Equipment record can be associated with many other equipment records. You can use these associations to create parent and dependant relationships. For example, you can have a Pump Station, Pump, and Motor all associated with each other. The Pump Station would be the parent to the Pump and Motor, the Pump the parent to the Motor, and the Pump and Motor both dependants of the Pump Station.
Each Equipment record can have many associated Readings records.
You can associate many typically used fluids with each equipment record (i.e. gasoline, motor oil, etc.).
You can associate multiple parts with each Equipment record.
You can create multiple inspection records for each equipment asset.
You can associate multiple warranties with each Equipment asset, as well as each equipment component and subcomponent.
