Use the GIS Data Loader

1. Follow the instructions regarding loading data using the GIS Data Loader.

   Note: The GIS Data Loader DOES NOT perform spatial relationship or autonumbering functions; therefore, if the features you loaded into the geodatabase using the GIS Data Loader are involved in spatial relationships or have autonumber fields, you must perform the following steps.

2. In ArcMap, load the feature class into which you just imported data.
3. Start an edit session.
4. Run the Update Spatial Relationships tool on the recently imported features.
5. Save your edit session.
