Select the Work Permit record from which you would like to create a linked Work Order.
Click the Toolkit and select Create Work Order From Permit | Selected Record. The following pop-up appears:
Use the Choose A Category picklist to select a Category (required) for the new Work Order.
Click Select.
If desired, select a PM Template (optional).
Click Select.
Click OK. Lucity creates and displays the new Work Order. If you expand the record, you'll see that the linked Work Permit appears in the Work Order's Work Permits child grid.
Send Email Notification | Current Filter
Sends a message to the Permit Contacts associated with the Work Permits in the current filterset.
Notifications are sent to the address listed in the Permit Email field of each Work Permit.
When complete, the toolkit records the action as a new record in the Work Permit's Email Tracking grid.
Create a filter to identify the the record(s) for which you would like to send notifications.
Click the button in the module toolbar and select Send Email Notification | Current Filter.
The following pop-up appears:
Select the desired Notification Template from the picklist.
Note:Notification Templates are created in the System Configuration > Notification Setup module.
Click OK. Lucity sends the Notification is sent to:
the contact designated in the Permit Email field of each Permit record; and
any default recipients listed in the selected Permit Notification template.
If any of the records did not have a Permit Email contact listed, the system will notify the user that the Notification could not be sent for those Permits.
The action is recorded in the Work Permit's Email Tracking grid.
Use CTRL + click to select one or more Work Permit records.
Click the button in the module toolbar and select Send Email Notification | Selected Record(s).
The following pop-up appears:
