Toolkit

The PM/Templates > PM Resource - Employees grid contains the following Toolkits:

Populate Hours for Current Filter

Enables you to enter expected hours without having to open the Employee record(s). This is useful when managing multiple records.

Open the PM/Templates module.
Click the Filter tool on the toolbar and select an existing filter or create a filter for the PM Resource > Employee records you want to populate with hours.
In the Tasks grid, click the to expand the desired Task record.
Click the Toolkit in the Employees grid and select Populate Hours | Current Filter. The system asks whether you want to run the tool against the number of records in the filter.
Click OK. The following pop-up appears:
Enter the hours (Normal Hours, Regular Hours, Overtime Hours) in their respective fields.
- If you enter data in the Normal Hours field, the Time Cost field will be enabled. The Time Cost field allows you to specify whether the specialty hours were billed as regular or overtime. If the Normal Hours field is not populated, then the Time Cost field is read-only.
Select either Regular Time, Overtime, External Regular Time or External Overtime. More information about Time Cost
Click OK. The toolkit overwrites the existing Hours values in the corresponding fields in the selected Employee record(s).

Populate Hours for Selected Record(s)

Enables you to enter expected hours without having to open the Employee record(s). This is useful when managing multiple records.

Open the PM/Templates module.
Click the to expand the desired PM Templates record.
In the Tasks grid, click the to expand the desired Task record.
In the Employees grid, select the Employee record(s) to which you want to populate hours.
Click the Toolkit in the Employees grid and select the Populate Hours for Selected Record(s) tool. The following pop-up appears:
Enter the hours (Normal Hours, Regular Hours, Overtime Hours) in their respective fields.
- If you enter data in the Normal Hours field, the Time Cost field will be enabled. The Time Cost field allows you to specify whether the specialty hours were billed as regular or overtime. If the Normal Hours field is not populated, then the Time Cost field is read-only.
Select either Regular Time, Overtime, External Regular Time or External Overtime. More information about Time Cost
