Toolkit

The PM Record grid contains several toolkits that allow users to perform operations using data from PM records.

Calculates how long it normally takes to complete a PM. To determine the amount of time, the system:

Finds all of the completed Work Orders for an asset that were generated by a single PM.
Calculates the duration of each Work Order (End Date/Time - Start Date/Time).
Calculates the number of work hours that existed within the duration of each Work Order. (This calculation uses the Default Number of Hours Worked per Day setting in the Work Option section of Lucity.)
Adds all of the Work Order hours and divides that sum by the number of Work Orders identified in Step 1.
Updates the PM's Est Duration (Hrs) field with the value (average hours) obtained by the tool.
Note: This tool is available only when the number of completed Work Orders for an asset exceeds the value defined in the Enter the Minimum Number of Linked WOs required to update the Est Duration Work Option.
