This tab includes data on pavement type and classification, rehabilitation needs, PCI, priority, and costs. Additionally, this tab displays what effect rehabilitation would have on PCI and the street surface. The fields in this tab help the system determine this supersegment's need for rehabilitation and its potential effect on your pavement budget. These fields are defined in the table below:
Note: The data in this module is stored in read-only format.
Field Name |
Definition |
Pavement Type |
This code/description field displays the material used to pave the supersegment prior to rehabilitation. |
Classification |
This code/description field displays the functional classification of the street supersegment (i.e. residential, collector, etc.). |
Rehab |
This code/description field displays the rehabilitation method used on the supersegment if it was selected in the model run. |
Rehab Group |
This field is used to track the rehabilitation group. A rehab group can be set for similar techniques and then a certain percentage of the budget can be allocated to each individual rehab group. |
Minimum Life |
This field indicates the minimum life span of the rehab technique indicated above. |
Rehab Key Zone |
This checkbox will be marked by the system if the supersegment was in a key zone based on its PCI. These are streets whose PCI falls between the minimum PCI and the Breakpoint PCI (set on the Rehab Techniques record or Rehab per Pavement Classification record) Key Zone streets have a higher rehabilitation priority. |
Selected |
This checkbox will be marked by the system if the supersegment was selected for rehabilitation in the model run. |
Only Select Critical |
Carried over from the Budget module. Shows if the budget should only select critical streets. If this is marked the model will only select results that have the Rehab Key Zone checked. Other streets will be marked as Forced Skip Selection. |
Forced Skip Selection |
This checkbox is automatically marked by the system if:
|
Forced Selection |
This checkbox will be marked by the system if this supersegment was included in the Planning Table as a Forced Year to Work street. |
Next Rehab Year |
If a minimum life was indicated, the system will calculate the next available rehab year in this field. |
Surface After Maint |
If this street was selected, the pavement surface will be reset to this type after the rehabilitation is complete. This is determined in the Rehab per Pavement/Classification module. |
Rehab Post Count |
This field reflects the new rehab group number after rehabilitation is complete. This may change if the pavement surface type changed during the rehabilitation. |
Begin PCI |
The PCI value prior to rehabilitation. |
Rehab Priority |
The rehabilitation priority as designated by the model run. |
Superseg Priority |
The supersegment priority in the model run. This is determined by PCI, forced selections, and budget. |
Pavement Cost |
The cost to rehabilitate this section of pavement. This is based on the monetary values in the Budget table, and the Pavement Cost in the Planning Table, if applicable. |
Misc Cost |
Any miscellaneous costs to rehabilitate this section of pavement. This data comes from the Miscellaneous Costs setup table and includes the costs to rehab sidewalks and driveway units. |
Contingency Cost |
Any add-on project contingency costs to rehabilitate this section of pavement. This data comes from the Budget setup table. |
Total Cost |
The Total Cost to rehabilitate this supersegment. Sums the values in the Pavement Cost, Misc Cost, and Contingency Cost fields. |
Restoration Points |
This is the number of PCI points that a selected supersegment's PCI will be raised if selected for rehabilitation. |
Post PCI if Rehabed |
This field contains the new PCI value if this supersegment was selected during the model run. This value reflects the change in the street's PCI if rehab was performed. |
Post PCI no Rehab |
This field contains the new PCI value if this supersegment was selected during the rehabilitation; however, this is the value if no rehabilitation methods were performed. |
