Lucity provides a standard set of Crystal Reports, which are stored on the Web server. However, many agencies choose to customize these reports and add reports of their own. If an agency has custom Desktop reports, they must be converted for Lucity Web use. The following sections explain how to implement custom reports.
Naming Custom Reports
Agencies should not modify the standard reports Lucity provides because these files are updated with every upgrade; therefore, any changes made would be overwritten when an upgrade is applied.
Instead, users should either make a copy of an existing report and give it a new name or create new reports with unique names that do not conflict with the standard reports.
