Crystal Reports

The Crystal Report plug-in is used to display a Crystal Report on the dashboard in either PDF or HTML format.

If a user must enter parameters to run a particular report, the plug-in displays a link in place of the report. Clicking the link prompts the user to enter the parameters and run the report.

Note: To speed up dashboard load time, Lucity does NOT run reports every time the dashboard is loaded. Instead, it runs and loads reports after a specified amount of time has passed. By default, this period is every four hours.

Web Example

Features

  • The first page of the report is displayed in the frame.
  • Clicking on the report opens a pop-up window that displays the full report. Through the pop-up, users can export, print, view parameters, switch pages, and change the text size of the report.

Example

The report at right is a Summary report. It provides a quick glance at how many Work Orders are open in each category. Summary and graph reports are most effective on the dashboard because they provide a general overview of activity.
