Recalculate All

The Sewer Recalc All tool will rerun all the calculations for the selected modules. For information on the specific fields updated when using this tool, please refer to the Recalculated Fields topic.

1. To access the Recalc All tool, select Sewer > System Tools > Recalc All and the following window will appear:

   

2. Select the modules you want recalculated by marking the corresponding checkboxes. Any calculated fields that are locked (lock checkboxes marked), will NOT be included in the recalculation.
3. Enter the date and time you want the recalc process to begin. Depending on the number of records in your dataset, this tool may take some time to process. This feature allows you to tell the program when to start performing the recalculation should you wish the process to be conducted after-hours.

   Note: If conducting the recalc after-hours, remember to leave your computer turned on an logged into the desktop application. It is best if other users are not logged into the database while the recalc tool is running.

4. Click .
5. Once the recalc process begins, the following window will appear. This window shows you which modules were selected to be recalculated along with the status of the recalc process. When the process is complete, the window will automatically close.

   

Important: The Sewer Recalc tool will NOT update values in the geodatabase.  If this tool is run, each field in the geodatabase will need to be updated manually since there is no equivalent tool.  Our recommendation is that if you use the Recalc tool, you should REMOVE the calculation fields from the geodatabase and maintain them ONLY in the Lucity.
