Smoke Tests Tab

The Smoke Tests tab provides an overview of the most recent test and lists all tests for the sewer pipe.  The records in this grid come from the Smoke Testing module.

Smoke Date

Date of the most recent Smoke Testing record.

Smoke Result

Overall result of the smoke test (i.e., positive, suspect, negative).

Smoke Flow

Total flow, in gallons per minute, observed during the smoke test.

This tab also contains a grid that lists all Smoke Test records for this particular pipe.

A sample of the grid appears below. Sort records in the grid by clicking on the headings.  An up or down arrow (highlighted in orange below) indicates whether data appear in ascending or descending order.

How To Add a Smoke Test

  1. Right-click in the grid and select Add Record. The Smoke Test module will open and display a new record.
  2. Fill out the Date Inspected (required). The US Structure, DS Structure, and Alt Pipe ID fields are also required; however, these fields are completed automatically when a record is added using this method.
  3. Complete any other desired fields.
  4. Save and close.
  5. The new Smoke Test record will appear in the grid.
