To have field definitions pop up automatically, complete the following steps:

1. From the main toolbar, select System > Configuration>Program Options.
2. Under the General tab, select the "Floating definition for field controls" option (put a check mark in the box).
3. The field definition will then automatically appear as a text pop up window when you hold your cursor over that field.
