At the top of the module window you will see header data. This data remains at the top of your screen as you use the tabs to navigate through the record. The header fields are described in the table below:

Street Name |
This required field allows you to choose a street from the Street Name pick list. To access the pick list, click on the field caption button or press F9. |
Segment ID |
This field allows you to uniquely identify the street segment. If you have not developed your own unique numbering scheme, you can use the F5 function to fill this field with a default value. |
From and To Street |
To define a block-to-block segment, use these fields to indicate the From Street and To Street. To select from the Street Name pick list, click on the field caption button or press F9. |
Node 1 and 2 ID |
Once you have selected the From and To Streets, these fields will be populated by the system with the corresponding Node IDs. These are defined in the Intersection Network module. |
Note: The Segment ID and Node IDs will be used throughout the Transportation system to identify connections among your assets.
You are able to import street segment data from a well maintained geodatabase or input the data by hand. For further information on these options, see the explanations below.
