Testing List

The Testing List Setup module is to create templates for testing activities, which can then can be loaded directly into a BMP Asset Testing record. The module consists of a Test List Name field to identify the list and a grid to contain the list items.

Note: To view an explanation of any field, Ctrl + right click in that field.

To access the Testing List Setup module, select Storm > BMPs > Setup > Testing List. The following window appears:

Checklist Items Grid

The Checklist Items grid lists items that need to be checked during the test. Users can add records to this list manually or load it with items from another template in this module.

A sample of the grid appears below.

• Right-click in the grid to add a record.
• Right-click on an existing record for options to View Record, Add Record, Edit Record, Delete Record, or Load Testing List.
• Double-click on an existing record to open it.
• Reorder arrows appear at the bottom of the grid. Select a checklist item in the grid and use the up/down arrows to change its position in the checklist.

How To Create and Populate a Testing List

1. Start a new testing list record.
2. Enter a name in the Test List Name field (required).
3. Save the record.
4. Right-click in the grid and select Add Record. The following window appears:

   

5. Enter a name in the Item field.

   Note: The rest of these fields have no special functionality and are under review by the customers that requested the modules. These fields might be removed in the future. Let us know if you have any ideas/use for these fields.

6. Save and close the record. The item is automatically added to the Testing List record.

How To Load a Testing List

1. Right-click in the grid and select Load Testing List. The following dialog appears with a list of other checklists available in this module:

   

2. Click on the desired list and click Select.
3. The list is loaded into the grid.
