The Inspection Checklist Setup module is used to create templates for Inspection Checklists, which can then be loaded directly into a BMP Asset Inspection record. The module consists of a Checklist Name field to identify the checklist, and a grid to contain the checklist items.
Note: To view an explanation of any field, Ctrl + right click in that field.
To access the Inspection Checklist Setup module, select Storm > BMPs > Setup > Inspection Checklist. The following window appears:
Checklist Items Grid
The Checklist Items grid displays a list of activities that should occur during the inspection. Users can add records to this list manually or load items from another Checklist Template in this module.
A sample of the grid appears below.
Right-click in the grid to add a record.
Right-click on an existing record for options to View Record, Add Record, Edit Record, Delete Record, or Load Inspection Checklist.
Double-click on an existing record to open it.
Reorder arrows appear at the bottom of the grid. Select a checklist item in the grid and use the up/down arrows to change its position in the checklist.
How To Create and Populate an Inspection Checklist
Start a new checklist record.
Enter a name in the Checklist Name field (required).
Save the record.
Right-click in the Checklist Items grid and select Add Record. The following window appears:
Enter a description for the Checklist Item.
Save and close the record. The item will automatically be added to the Checklist record.
How To Load an Inspection Checklist
Right-click in the Inspection Checklist grid and select Load Inspection Checklist. A list of the checklists available in this module appears:
