The Work Order/Request tab contains two grids that enable users to view and edit Work Orders and Requests associated with the asset.
Note: Work Orders cannot be added through the grid.
Most Work Order tabs in Lucity contain two important fields:

Default WO Category |
Enables users to set up a default category for the asset. Then, when a work order is created, the default category and related Asset information are imported into the new work order record. Click the field caption button or press F9 within the field for a list of categories. |
No WO/PM/Req |
When checked, prevents users from creating Requests, Work Orders, or PMs for the current Asset Inventory record by disabling the corresponding toolbar buttons. In addition, the Asset is no longer displayed in the selection dialog boxes for the WO/PM/Request modules. This function is useful for assets that are in the system, but have been abandoned or are no longer used. |
Note: The Default WO Cat field appears in all Inventory modules; however, its placement varies. If this field does not appear on the WO tab, check other tabs in the module.
