Templates
Selecting Templates at the top of the Dashboard/Preferences Dialog changes the functionality of the dialog to be focused on setting up a template to apply to multiple users. Following this users can Add, Edit, Delete, or Preview Dashboard Views. They can also Apply Batch Template to multiple other templates. (Applying a template to an individual template is done when editing that user's dashboard).
Templates allow user to quickly apply pre-defined general settings to users' Dashboards. When a template is applied it overwrites the dashboard's current configuration. However, the template isn't tied to the dashboard, meaning that changes made to the template won't update each user's dashboard until the template is re-applied. This means that templates can be defined for groups of users with similar needs, applied to those users, and then each individual dashboard can be customized.
