The header fields contain general information to identify and describe each item. It appears at the top of the module window and remains visible as users navigate through the module's tabs.

BMP Asset Rec # * |
The system-defined unique identifier for the asset that the item is attached to. Click on the field name or press F9 within the field for a list of assets. |
BMP Asset Number * |
The user-defined unique identifier for the asset that the item is attached to. This is filled out automatically when the BMP Asset Rec # is selected. |
Asset Item Number |
The unique identifier for the item. This is automatically generated by the system based on the BMP Asset Number and then a sequential number. Example: Asset WX13 will have items WX13-01, WX13-02, WX13-03 etc... |
Type |
Indicates different types of BMP Assets. Click the field caption or press F9 for a list of stock items. This list comes from the Stock Items Library module. |
Operating Status |
Indicates the status of the item. Any value above 950 is considered to be out of service. PM's will not generate work orders for assets that are out of service. |
Active |
Indicates whether the item is currently being used in the Storm BMP program. |
