Testing List

This module is to setup testing list templates. These can be loaded directly into a BMP Asset Testing record. The module consists of a Test List Name field to identify the list, and a grid to contain the list items.

Note: To view an explanation of any field, Ctrl + right click in that field.

To access the Testing List Setup module, select Storm > BMPs > Setup > Testing List.

Checklist Items grid

This grid contains a list of things that need to be checked during the test. This list can be manually populated with records or it can be loaded with items from another list template from this module.

A sample of the grid appears below.

• Right-click in the grid to add a record
• Right-click on an existing record to get a menu with options to View Record, Add Record, Edit Record, Delete Record, or Load Testing List.
• Double-click on an existing record to open it
• At the bottom of the grid there are reorder arrows. Select a checklist item in the grid and use the up down arrows to change its positions in the checklist.

How To Create and populate a Testing List

1. Add a new record
2. Enter a name in the Test List Name field. This field is required.
3. Save the record.
4. Right-click in the grid and select Add Record. The following window will appear

   

5. Enter a name in the Item field.

   Note: The rest of these fields have no special functionality and are under review by the customers that requested the modules. They might be removed in the future. Let us know if you have any ideas/use for these fields.

6. Save and close the record.
7. The item will automatically be added to the Testing list record.

How To Load a Testing List

1. Right-click in the grid and select Load Testing List. The following selection list will appear with a list of other checklists from this module

   

2. Click on the desired list and click Select.
3. The list will be loaded into the grid.
