The Action History grid tracks the following events. The events are added to the grid using the associated toolkit.

The PDMS Action History grid contains several toolkits to add events to the grid and update the portable dynamic message system record.

Function

Attach New Comm ID to Asset

Used when linking the pdms record to a communication service and communication device.

  • This is only available if the Comm ID field is blank.
  • Updates the Comm ID field and the Comm Device ID fields.

Detach Comm ID from Asset

Used when removing the communication service and communication device link from the pdms.

  • This is only available if the Comm ID field is filled out.
  • Clears the Comm ID field and the Comm Device ID fields.
