Transaction Staging

The Transaction Staging module stores Parts data imported using Import and Update before committing the changes to the Inventory. This enables warehouse managers to review, edit, validate and finally post the import data into to the Parts Inventory.

This module supports the following types of transactions:

Once the Transaction Staging records are imported you will need to run the Validate Imported Data and Post Adjustment toolkits in this module to push the entries into the Parts module.

Transaction Staging Fields

User Name

Identifies the person who is processing the data.

Reference

Denotes a tracking number for the part barcode being imported to inventory.

Date

Identifies the date that the parts are processed.

Description

Provides additional details about the part data that is being imported and updated.

Part Barcode

Provides the alpha-numeric string barcode that identifies the part being processed.

Location Barcode

Provides the alpha-numeric string barcode that identifies the warehouse location of the part being processed.

Processed

Indicates that the parts data was imported.

Validation Failed

Indicates that the process of importing the data did not work.

Process Error

Indicates that a mistake was made while processing data.
