Equipment Toolkits

The Work Orders > Assets grid Toolkit contains the following Equipment tool, which is specific to Work Assets linked to Equipment modules.

Add Equipment Reading | Selected Record

Creates an Equipment Reading record for the selected Equipment asset, which enables users to quickly record readings for the item they are working on.

Note: This tool is available only when the selected Work Order Asset is a record in the Equipment Inventory.

In the Work Orders module, click the to expand the desired Work Order record. The Work Order Category of this record must be linked to the Equipment module.
In the Assets grid, select a single Equipment Asset record to which you want to add a reading.
Click the Toolkit in the Assets grid and select the Add Equipment Reading | Selected Record tool. The following pop-up appears:
The Date and Time fields automatically display the current date and time; however, the values can be changed.
Enter the Hourmeter and/or Other Meter reading(s). The user must complete at least one of these fields.
Click OK to save the reading record. The system updates the Equipment asset record and creates a new record in the Equipment Readings module that is linked to the selected Equipment record.
