Toolkit

The PM/Templates > PM Groups > PM Grouped PM Tightly Linked PMs grid contains the following Toolkit:

Add a Tightly Linked or Affected PM to a Grouped/Grouped Asset PM

Enables you to add a Tightly Linked or Affected PM Schedule to a Grouped or Grouped Asset PM.

Note: This toolkit is only available when the original PM record is marked as either Tightly Linked or Affected (in addition to Scheduled and Grouped or Grouped Asset).

Open the PM/Template module.
Click the to expand a PM record that is marked as both Scheduled, Tightly Linked and Grouped or Grouped Asset.
In the PM Groups grid click the to expand the PM Group to which you want to add a Tightly Linked PM.
In the PM Grouped PM Tightly Linked PMs grid click the Toolkit and select Add New Affected or Tightly Linked PM. The following Tightly Linked PM form opens:
Use the Routine Code picklist.to select a Scheduled Grouped PM to which this PM will be linked.
*IMPORTANT: The PM you select must have the same assets as the PM to which you are linking.
Enter the # Between number of Scheduled Grouped PM cycles that will happen between occurrences of the Tightly Linked PM.
Enter the # Remaining number of Scheduled Grouped PM cycles that will happen before the first occurrence of the Tightly Linked PM.
Click Save . The Tightly Linked PM record now appears in the PM Grouped PM Tightly Linked PMs grid and will generate work based on this record's parameters in relation to the linked Scheduled Grouped PM.

Open the PM/Template module.
Click the to expand a PM record that is checked as Scheduled and Tightly Linked.
In the PM Groups grid click the to expand the PM Group to which you want to add an Affected
In the PM Grouped PM Tightly Linked PMs grid click the Toolkit and select Add New Affected or Tightly Linked PM. The following Tightly Linked PM form opens:
The schedule record is marked as Affected. This populates from the linked PM and cannot be changed.
Use the Routine Code field to select a Scheduled PM to which this PM will be linked.
The # Between and # Remaining fields are inactive for this type of PM Schedule.
Click Save . The Affected PM schedule record now appears in the PM Grouped PM Tightly Linked PMs grid and will generate work at the same time when the linked Grouped or Grouped Asset PM schedule it triggered.
