Category-Based Task Notifications

The Task Setup > Categories > Notification grid allows agencies to dictate which Notifications the system automatically sends when a user sets at specific combination of Category and Main Task on a Work Order.

A Task Setup record's Categories > Notifications grid lists the notifications that are sent from a Work Order when a specific combination of Category and Main Task are selected.

In the Work > Administration > Work Flow Setup > Task Setup module, click the button to expand the desired Task record.
Select the Category grid and click the button to expand the record to which you want to add a Notification.
In the Category Notification grid, click . The Task Category Notification form appears.
Click to select an existing Notification template (required). The options in this pick-list come from the System Configuration > Notification Setup module.
Click Select.
Save and close the record. The selected Notification now appears in the Category Notification grid.
