Method 1

1. Open the Industrial Site module.
2. Select the site you want to add an inspection to.
3. Click the button to expand the record.
4. Select the Inspection grid and click the button. A new inspection record is started with the Industrial ID field filled out using the ID for the associated site.
5. Continue to Fill out the Record....

Method 2

1. Open the Construction Site Inspection module.
2. Click the button. A new record will appear.
3. Enter or select the Industrial ID for the site the inspection is for (required).
4. Continue to Fill out the Record....

Filling out the Record

1. Enter the Inspection Date and Inspection Time (both required).
   • The combination of Industrial ID and Inspection Date must form a unique combination.
2. Complete other fields as necessary.
3. Use the Maintenance Requested or Needs Repair fields to automatically create a request or work order for the site.
4. Click the button to save the Inspection.

Click the button to expand the Inspection to which you want to add a checklist item.

1. Select the Inspection Checklist grid and click the button.
2. In the Checklist Item field, provide a brief description of the inspection activity.
3. Click the button to save the record.

Click the button in the Inspection Checklist grid and select the Load Inspection Checklist tool. The following pop-up appears:

Note: This list only includes Checklists designed for the current module.

1. Select a Checklist.
2. Click OK. The system loads the checklist items into the grid.

1. Click the button to expand the record to which you want to add a Violation.
2. Select the Violations grid and click the button.
3. Select an Enforcement Type from the pick-list.
4. Enter the Occurred Date (required).
5. Choose the applicable Notice/Violation (required, and along with the Occurred Date, must form a unique combination for the record to which the Violation is attached).
   • The Notice/Violation pick-list options are established in the Notification Setup module.
6. Complete other fields as desired.
7. Click the button to save the record. The new Violation now appears in the grid.

Using the button, expand the record to which you want to add a corrective action.

1. Select the Violations (or Notices and Violations) tab.
2. Using the button, expand the Violation record to which you want to add a Corrective Action.
3. Select the Corrective Actions grid and click the button. The Corrective Action form opens.
4. Use the pick-list to select a Corrective Action and enter the Notification Date.
   • These fields are required and must form a unique combination for the selected Violation.
5. Complete other fields as desired.
6. Click the button to save the record. The Correction Action now appears in the grid.

Validate Address?

Activates the Street Name Validation function. When active, any street name a user enters into the Address fields is checked against the Street Name List. If the name entered does not match a street in the list, the user cannot save the record. More information about Street Name Validation
