Web - Workstation Installation Requirements

Silverlight is required for anyone using the Web application.

1. If Silverlight is not already installed on your workstation, you'll be prompted to install it the first time you open the web map. You'll be routed to the Microsoft download site which will install a free version of the software.
2. Close and reopen the map window to begin using Silverlight.
3. Users who are using the Silverlight application may occasionally see messages about upgrading Silverlight:

   

4. Depending on your Silverlight settings, you may or may not see messages like the one above. By default, Silverlight is configured to look for updates; however, you can customize your update settings by right clicking on the map area and selecting the Silverlight popup menu. The following dialog will appear:

   

5. This dialog allows you to customize some of the update preferences and the Application Storage Preferences.

   Note: You may delete the application storage for the Lucity Web site; however, you should not disable application storage. For additional details on this dialog, consult the following MSDN online article.
