Storm Pump Header Data

At the top of the module window you will see header data. This data remains at the top of your screen as you use the tabs to navigate through the record. The header fields are described in the table below:

Field Name

Definition

Pump ID

The Pump ID field is a read-only field. This field is automatically populated with a database generated number that uniquely identifies the pump.

Pump Number

This is a required, alphanumeric field that allows you to enter your own unique identifier for the pump.

Pump Type

This is a code-description, pick list field that allows you to specify the type of pump (i.e. submersible, self-priming, vertical centrifugal).

Slot Number

Station Number

Station Name

These fields are automatically populated upon installing the pump in a pump station slot via the Pump Station Inventory record. These fields will remain vacant if the pump is not associated with a pump station.

Note: After a pump is removed from a pump station, the pump station's inventory record is considered a “history record” and can be viewed by clicking the Relationship button on the module toolbar.
