Split Subsegments

Subsegments can be split into multiple lengths.  To split subsegments, complete the following steps:

1. Left click to highlight the street .
2. Right-click on the highlighted street and select Split from the drop-down menu.  The following window will appear:

   

3. Enter the number of subsegments into which you would like the segment to be split and click OK. 

   Note:  The segment will be split into subsegments of equal length.

4. The screen will now resemble the following:

   

5. As you can see, the segment has been split into subsegments of equal length.  Each subsegment now has a unique Subsegment Code issued by the system.

   Note: If there are historical Field Inspections and/or Work Orders for the subsegment, these inspections and work orders will be associated with the original street subsegment only.
