Every time you add a new street segment to the Segment Network, the system automatically adds a subsegment of the same length to the system. To identify the subsegment, the system takes the unique Segment ID and adds a "-1" to the end. Information on width, surface type, and length are added by the user.
The data in the Subsegment grid can be sorted by clicking on the headings. An arrow (circled in red below) will appear signifying ascending or descending order. Click the heading again to change the direction.
By using this grid you can view the subsegment record, edit the record, or split the subsegment into multiple lengths.
