Keyboard Navigation

Daily Work was designed to allow you to navigate through each field by hitting the <Enter> key instead of using a mouse. The only exception to this is in the Category field.  While you can manually enter the category code in the field (if you know it), you may need to open up the category tree.  Complete the following steps to select a category from the category tree:

• Hit F9 with your cursor in the Category field to open up the category tree window.
• Use the arrow keys to select a category.
• Hit <Tab> to move your cursor to the "OK" button and hit your space bar.

  Note: If you choose to use your mouse instead of the <Enter> key, you will not receive some of the prompts described in the following topics.
