Geodatabase Configuration tool

The core of the Lucity GIS integration is the geodatabase configuration tool. Once a geodatabase connection is created in the Lucity Administration tool the Lucity Geodatabase Configuration tool in ArcCatalog is used to perform all other database configurations.

This tool requires the GIS > GIS System Configuration > Run and GIS > GIS Admin Connection Strings > Edit permissions.

Functions

• Modify and test geodatabase connection properties
• Indicate if the geodatabase should be updated from Lucity or if it is a replica
• Specify which versions of the geodatabase should have edits pushed to Lucity
• Add/Modify/Delete feature classes, spatial relationships, number generators
• Add/Modify/Delete feature class field mappings
• Create/Synch feature class domains

How to

Launch the Geodatabase configuration tool

1. In ArcCatalog, Click on Lucity GIS Tools > Geodatabase Configuration.
