Dashboards

The Add/Edit Dashboard dialog allows users to add/edit/manage Dashboard Tabs that will appear on a selected user dashboard or template. Users can also manage website links that will be available using the dashboard Links tool.

To add a tab click the Add button or select a tab on the left and click Edit. The following window will appear:
Fill in a Name. This is required and will be displayed in the dashboard.
Fill out other desired information, and add the desired frames.
Click OK to close the window.

Select the tab to share with other users.
The following window will appear with the warning that after a tab is shared it cannot be edited from the users dashboard setup:

Click the Add button, or select a link on the left and click Edit.
The following window will appear:
Enter a name for the link in the Display Text field.
Enter the full URL. Absolute and Relative paths are accepted (e.g. Absolute path: http://www.Lucity.com/). You can also include mailto links allowing users to send email directly from the web (e.g. mailto:help@lucity.com).
Click OK to close the record.
The Links will be added to the drop-down list in the dashboard toolbar. A sample of this Links list as it appears on the Dashboard is shown below:

To apply an existing Template to the user's Dashboard, click the Apply Template button. The following dialog will appear:
Select an Available Template from the drop down list and click Apply.
The template's Views, including Frames and Plugins will automatically be added to this user's Dashboard.
