Street Type

The Street Name List module is a database of pre-defined street names that are used for Street Name List Validation in other modules. The Street Type module allows you to create the street type pick list users select from when entering a street name in the Street Name List module.

For information about this module's toolbars click on the corresponding icon below.

Note: Users can view any field definition by right clicking + Ctrl in that field.

To access the Street Type module, select General > Street Name > Street Type. The following window will open:

To add a street type, complete the following steps:

1. Click on the module toolbar to enter Add Mode. The Street Type ID field is auto- populated with a database generated number.
2. Enter the street type abbreviation (e.g. ST, ALY, LN).
3. Enter a description (e.g. Street, Alley, Lane).
4. Click to save the record.
