Inventory

The Park module provides you with multiple inventory modules to track your assets.  While each of the inventory modules track unique park assets, they all have the same format.  You can use the features provided in each module to associate your park assets with a main park record and other asset inventory records.  All inventory modules are tied to companion inspection modules.  These pairs and the assets they track are described in the table below.  We'll go over the Parking Lot Inventory module in detail as an example for this help guide.

Module Name

Purpose

Parking Lot

Records the location of each parking lot and its physical attributes.

Path

Records the location of each path and its physical attributes. Allows you to indicate whether it is a walking path, bicycle path, or other kind of path.

Structures

Records the location of each structure and its physical attributes.  Allows you to indicate whether it is a stage, dock, shelter, or other kind of structure.

Fields

Records the location of each field and its physical attributes.  Allows you to indicate whether it is a soccer field, baseball field, or other kind of field.

Courts

Records the location of each court and its physical attributes.  Allows you to indicate whether it is a basketball court, tennis court, or other kind of court.

Landscape

Records the location of each landscape feature and its physical attributes. Allows you to indicate whether it is a flower bed, fountain, signage area, or median.

Meters

Records the location of each meter and its physical attributes.  Allows you to indicate whether it is a water meter, electric meter, or other kind of meter.

Lighting

Records the location of each lighting feature, its physical attributes, and its type.

Playground Equipment

Records the location of each piece of playground equipment and its physical attributes.  Allows you to indicate whether it is a slide, swing set, monkey bars, tunnel, or other playground feature.

Furniture/Amenities

Records the location of each item of furniture or amenity and its physical attributes.  Allows you to indicate whether it is a bench, bleachers, grill, or other item.

Fences

Records the location of each fence and its physical attributes.

Refuse

Records the location of each refuse container and its physical attributes.

Irrigation Controller

Records the location of each irrigation controller and its physical attributes. Allows you to indicate whether it is electric or electromechanical.

Irrigation Valve

Records the location of each irrigation valve and its physical attributes.  Allows you to indicate its type, whether it is a diaphragm, butterfly, or piston valve.
