The header data, located at the top of each record, is visible regardless of which tab is displayed below. It is important to enter header data for each new record, because the header data is what defines and distinguishes each record.
Header data varies with each module. In most modules the header data consists of an ID number or some other number that uniquely identifies the assets represented in that record. Inspection records will always have a date field that must be filled out as well. Most modules have required fields in the header data, meaning a record cannot be saved until that field is entered.
