Adding a Location

To add a location to the grid, complete the following steps:

1. Right click in the grid and select Add Record. The following window will appear:

   

2. Enter a location. Identify the location with a unique number in the first field and a brief description in the second.
3. Enter a Location Barcode if you will be using the Warehouse Operations, Barcoding device.
4. Click to save the record.
5. Click to exit add mode.
6. Click to close the window.

   Note: You cannot delete a location from a warehouse if parts are associated with it or if it is a default location for any part.
