At the top of the module window you will see header data. This data remains at the top of your screen as you use the tabs to navigate through the record. The header fields are described in the table below:

This field is automatically populated when a Warranty record is created from another Equipment or Facility module. For example, if you access the Warranty module (via the Warranty grid) from the Equipment Inventory module, the entity type field will read "Equip". If you access the Warranty module (via the Warranty grid) from the Building module, the entity type field will read "Building". |
Entity Name

This field is automatically populated by the system. It will contain the specific entity name (Fleet Asset name, Equipment name, Site Name, etc.) of the inventory asset for which the warranty record is added. |
Warranty Rec. No.
|
This field is automatically filled by the system with a number that uniquely identifies the record. |
Asset Record ID
|
This field identifies which asset the warranty applies to. This field will be automatically filled by the system with the unique Asset ID. |
