Open Warranty Notice

You will receive a notice stating there are open warranties on a fleet, equipment, or facility item if:

• The Work Order has a status less than 950, Non Complete WO, and
• The Work Order has at least one fleet, equipment, or facility asset listed in the Assets tab, and
• The asset has at least one active record in the Warranty table, and
• The current system date is less than or equal to the warranty expiration date.

For example, in the notice above, you can see that this particular asset has one open warranty:  A Supplier, 90 day warranty.  The Supplier warranty expires on 10/03/2009.  Since that warranty is still open, we received the notice when we began to edit the work order.
