Continuous defects are tracked in the Pipe Analysis Details dialog in the following manner:
The system will show the first and last records for the continuous defect.
The system will add records as follows for all continuous defects between the first and last records:
For PACP continuous defects, the system always adds a replica of the initial defect every 5 feet.
For TV continuous defects, the system always adds a replica of the initial defect every 5 feet unless there is a value for Pipe Section Length in the Pipe Inventory record, in which case it uses that value instead.
The total length of the continuous defect can be seen in the first continuous defect under the Continuous Length field.
Every continuous defect record, whether the starting value, ending value, or an added record, will have the Continuous Defect checkbox marked as True.
The Location field will always let the user know if it is the starting, ending, or added continuous defect record.
