Using Custom Geodatabases

Depending upon individual needs, there are several options for using geodatabases integrated with the Lucity software.  One option is to use the standard Lucity geodatabase.  If you use this option, it is not necessary to perform any of the setup required in this help topic.  The second option is to use the Lucity geodatabase and modify it by adding or removing fields and feature classes. This option requires the standard setup to be modified so that the additional fields and feature classes are appropriately synchronized with the desktop when edits are made in ArcGIS and vise versa.  Lastly, it is possible to start with a completely independent geodatabase model and use this help topic to setup the desktop to synchronize with the custom geodatabase.
