In Design Mode, you can click on a Frame heading to drag and drop the Frame to a new placement on the dashboard.
The system ensures that a frame will not extend past the right side of the dashboard. If a frame will extend past the edge of the dashboard due to its width and placement next to other frames, the frame is bumped down to the next row.
Lucity Web will use frames to fill each row. With the exception of the final row, the system will not allow a row to be partially filled unless the next frame in the sequence has a width that will not fit in the row.
Example 1
In this first example you can see each frame labeled with its order. This dashboard:
Displays Frame 1
Displays Frame 2
Doesn't have enough room to display Frame 3 so it goes to a new line.
Displays Frame 3
Displays Frame 4
Displays Frame 5
Example 2
In this example the original Frame 2 is moved down to the 5th position and is now Frame 5. The other Frames renumbered accordingly. The dashboard:
Displays Frame 1
Displays Frame 2
Doesn't have enough room to display Frame 3 so it goes to a new line.
Displays Frame 3
Displays Frame 4
Doesn't have enough room to display Frame 5 so it goes to a new line.
