Modifying/Deactivating PM Schedules
Sometimes a PM's Schedule needs to be adjusted or deactivated. This can be done but only in certain circumstances. To modify/deactivate a PM Schedule :
The PM or PM Group cannot be linked to an open Work Order , or If PM or PM Group is linked to an open Work Order , the PM's Status must be set to 1|Awaiting WO Generation . How to Modify a schedule for a Standard PM
Open the PM/Templates module. Open the PM/Template whose schedule you wish to modify. *The PM must show Status of 1|Awaiting WO Generation in order to make schedule changes. Edit the schedule fields as needed. Click Save . A pop-up similar to the following will appear to identify the schedule change and ask for a reason for the change:
Enter a reason (optional) and click OK . A record will be added to the PM Tracking grid documenting the schedule change. Close the record. The Work Order will be generated on the new schedule.

Clear out all of the scheduling fields. Click Save . A pop-up similar to the following will appear to identify the schedule change and ask for a reason for the change:
Enter a reason (optional) and click OK . In the Core Information section of the PM form, mark the record as Inactive . Click Save . If the Prompt for Reason when PM is Unscheduled Work Option is enabled a pop-up will appear prompting you to enter a reason for unscheduling the PM . Enter a reason (optional) and click OK . A record will be added to the PM Tracking grid documenting the schedule change.
