Creates a Raw Water Pump Reading record for the selected Raw Water Pump asset,enabling a user to quickly record readings for the Work Order Asset (Pump) they are working on.
In the Work Orders module, click the to expand the desired Work Order record. The Work Order Category of this record must be linked to the Raw Water Pump module.
In the Assets grid, select a single Raw Water Pump record to which you want to add a reading.
Click the Toolkit in the Assets grid and select the Water >Add Raw Water Pump Reading | Selected Record toolkit. The following pop-up appears:
The Date and Time fields automatically display the current date and time. Modify the values if desired.
Enter the Hourmeter reading (required) and Other Meter reading (optional).
Click OK. The system updates the Raw Water Pump inventory record and creates a new record in the Raw Water Pump Readings module that is linked to the selected Raw Water Pump record.
Add Recycled Water Pump Reading | Selected Record
Creates a Recycled Water Pump Reading record for the selected Recycled Water Pump,enabling a user to quickly record readings for the Work Order Asset (Pump) they are working on.
In the Work Orders module, click the to expand the desired Work Order record. The Work Order Category of this record must be linked to the Recycled Water Pump module.
In the Assets grid, select a single Recycled Water Pump record to which you want to add a reading.
Click the Toolkit in the Assets grid and select the Add Recycled Water Pump Reading | Selected Record toolkit. A pop-up similar to the following appears:
The Date and Time fields automatically display the current date and time. Modify the values if desired.

Change Meter Service | Selected Record
Documents a change in service status (e.g., when the service is scheduled to be turned on or off) for a Meter Set location listed as a Work Order Asset.
In the Work Orders module, click the to expand the desired Work Order record. The Category of this Work Order must be Service Meter.
In the Assets grid, select the Meter Set record whose status is changing.
Click the Toolkit in the Assets grid and select the Change Meter Service | Selected Record tool. The following pop-up appears:
Click the Meter Set Status picklist. The following pop-up appears:
Select the desired meter status (required). Click Select.
Enter the Current Read 1 (required).
Enter the Completion Date (required).
Enter the Completion Time (optional).
Click OK to save the record. The system performs the following actions:
creates a Location Status History record linked to the Meter Set record; and
updates the Operating Status and Current Read 1 fields on the Meter Set record.
Open Valve(s) | Selected Record(s)
Enables the user to change the Status of one or more Water Valve records to "Open" from the Work Order record, eliminating the need to open each Valve record.
In the Work Orders module, click the to expand the desired Work Order record. The Work Order category must be linked to the Water Valve module.
In the Assets grid, select the Valve(s) that you want to open.
Click the Toolkit in the Assets grid and select the Open Valve(s) | Selected Record(s) tool. A prompt asks the user to confirm the number of records that will be affected by the action:
Click OK. The system changes the Operating Status to "Open" on the Valve Inventory record.
Close Valve(s) | Selected Record(s)
Enables the user to change the Status of one or more Water Valve records to "Closed" from the Work Order record, eliminating the need to open each Valve record.
In the Work Orders module, click the to expand the desired Work Order record. The Work Order category must be linked to the Water Valve module.
In the Assets grid, select the Valve(s) that you want to close.
Click the Toolkit in the Assets grid and select the Close Valve(s) | Selected Record(s) tool. A prompt asks the user to confirm the number of records that will be affected by the action:
Click OK. The system changes the Operating Status to "Closed" on the Valve Inventory record.
Create Water Pipe Main Break From Assets | Selected Record
Creates a Water Pipe Main Break record from a Work OrderAsset record, eliminating the need to open the Water Main Breaks module. This Toolkit is available only when a single record is selected in the Work Order's Assets grid.
In the Work Orders module, click the to expand the desired Work Order record. The Work Order Category must be linked to the Water Main module.
In the Assets grid, select the Water Pipe record for which you want to create a Water Pipe Main Break. (This Toolkit is available only when a single record is selected in the grid.)
Click the Toolkit in the Assets grid and select the Create Water Pipe Main Break From Assets | Selected Record tool.A prompt appears to indicate the number of records that will be affected by the action.
Click OK. The tool runs and opens the Water Main Break From Work Order view. Open the Water Main Break form. Note that the system carries the Work Order # to the Break Number field on the Water Main Breaks form.
View Water Main Break for Asset | Selected Record
Opens any Water Main Break records associated with the selected Work Order Asset, eliminating the need to open the Water Main Breaks module. This Toolkit is available only when a single record is selected in the Work Order's Assets grid.
In the Work Orders module, click the to expand the desired Work Order record. The Work Order Category must be linked to the Water Main module.
In the Assets grid, select the Water Pipe record for which you want to view a Water Pipe Main Break. (This Toolkit is available only when a single record is selected in the grid.)
Click the Toolkit in the Assets grid and select the View Water Main Break for Asset | Selected Record tool.A prompt appears to indicate the number of records that will be affected by the action.
Click OK. The tool runs and opens the Water Main Break module. Open the Water Main Break form to view more information.
Exchange AMR Device | Selected Record
Enables the user to detach one Water AMR (automated meter reading) device from a Water Meter Set Location listed as a Work Order Assetand replace it with another device.
In the Work Orders module, click the to expand the desired Work Order record. (The Work Order Category must link to the Water Meter Location module.)
In the Assets grid, select the Water Meter Set location at which you want to exchange an AMR device.
Note: This tool is available only when the selected Water Meter Set record is linked to a Water AMR device record.
Click the button in the Assets grid and select the ExchangeAMR Device | Selected Record tool. The following pop-up appears:
Click the Current AMR button for a list of AMRs that are installed at the Water Meter Set Location. Select the Water AMR device that you want to remove (required).
Add any Readings for the AMR device.
Enter a Reading Code to indicate the type of reading.
Enter the Removal Date (required).
Click the New AMR button and select the Water AMR device that you want to install in place of the current Water AMR device (required).
Add any Readings for the new AMR device.
Enter a Reading Code to indicate the type of reading.
Enter the Installation Date (required).
Add any Notes, if desired.
Click the OK button to save the record.
The Current AMR defice is removed from the Water Meter Set Location's > Water Meter Location Installed AMR grid. The New AMR is added to the grid.
Exchange Meter Device | Selected Record
Enables the user to detach one Water Meter Device record from a Water Meter Set Location listed as a Work Order Asset and replace it with another device.
In the Work Orders module, click to expand the desired Work Order record. (The Work Order Category must be linked to the Water Meter Location module.)
In the Assets grid, select the Water Meter Set location at which you want to exchange a meter device.
Note: This tool is available only when the selected Water Meter Set record is linked to a Meter Device record.
Click the Toolkit in the Assets grid and select the ExchangeMeter Device | Selected Record tool. The following pop-up appears:
The Current Meter field identifies the meter that is currently installed.
Add a Reading 1 for the current meter device (required).
The Effective Date (required) will auto-populate to today's date but can be edited.
Select the New Meter picklist. A pop-up similar to the following opens with records from the Water Flow Meter Devices module:
Select a new Meter Device and click Select.
Add a Reading 1 for the new meter device (required).
The Effective Date (required) will auto-populate to today's date but can be edited.
Complete additional fields as desired.
Click OK to save the record.
The system adds a record to the both the old and new Meter devices' Location History grids.
The system adds two new records to the Meter Set location's Meter History grid: One to indicate the removal of the existing Meter, and another indicating the installation of the replacement Meter.
Install AMR Device | Selected Record
Links a Water AMR device to the Meter Set location selected in the Work Order's Assets grid.
In the Work Orders module, click the to expand the desired Work Order record. (The Work Order Category must link to the Water Meter Location module.)
In the Assets grid, select the Meter Set location in which you want to install a Water AMR device. (This tool is available only when one Meter Set record is selected in the Work Order's Assets grid.)
Click the Toolkit in the Assets grid and select the InstallAMR Device | Selected Record tool. The following pop-up appears:
Open the New AMR picklist. A pop-up similar to the following appears:
Select one or more Water AMR devices that you want to install (required).
Click Select.
Add any new Readings for the AMR device.
Enter a Reading Code to indicate the type of reading.
An Effective Date (required) to indicate the installation date will auto-populate with today's date but can be changed.
Complete additional fields as desired.
Click OK. The system:
Adds the Water AMR device to the Meter Set record's Installed AMR grid.
Adds a record to the Water AMR device's Location History grid indicating the device's current Meter Set location.
Install Meter Device | Selected Record
Links a Water Meter to a Meter Location selected in the Work Order's Assets grid.
In the Work Orders module, click the to expand the desired Work Order record. (The Work Order Category must link to the Water Meter Location module.)
In the Assets grid, select the Meter Set location in which you want to install a Water Meter device. (This tool is available only when one Meter Set record is selected in the Work Order's Assets grid.)
Click the Toolkit in the Assets grid and select the Install Meter Device | Selected Record tool. The following pop-up appears:
Open the New Meter picklist. A pop-up similar to the following appears:
Select the Water Meter that you want to install (required).
Click Select.
Note: You can only install one Meter device at a Meter Set Location. A warning message will appear if the Meter Set Location already has an installed Meter Device.
Add a Reading 1 (required) and additional Readings if desired.
The Completion Date (required) will auto-populate to today's date but can be changed.
Complete additional fields as desired.
Click OK to save the record. The system:
Adds the Water Meter device to the Meter Set record's Location Meter History grid.
Adds a record to the Water Meter device's Location History grid indicating the device's current Meter Set location.
Reread Meter Set | Selected Record
Enables the user to quickly enter new readings for a Meter Set listed as an Asset on a Work Order. Note, however, that this tool is only available for Meter Sets linked to WaterService Meters.
In the Work Orders module, click the to expand the desired Work Order record. (The Work Order Category must link to the Water Meter Location module.)
In the Assets grid, select the Meter Set Location from which you want to remove a Water AMR device.
Click the Toolkit in the Assets grid and select the UninstallAMR Device | Selected Record tool. (This tool is available only when one Meter Set Location record with an existing AMR Device is selected in the Work Order's Assets grid.) The following pop-up appears:
Use the Current AMR field to select the AMR device that needs to be removed from a list of AMR Devices installed at the Meter Set Location.
Add any Readings for the Current AMR device.
Select a Reading Code to indicate the type of reading you are recording.
The Effective Date (required) to indicate the uninstall date will auto-populate to today's date but can be changed.
Complete additional fields as desired.
Click OK. The system:
Removes the Water AMR device from the Meter Set record's Water Meter Set Installed Automated Meter Reader grid.
Adds a record to the Water AMR device's Location History grid indicating the device's removal.
Uninstall Meter Device | Selected Record
Removes the link between a Water Meter and the Meter Set Location selected in the Work Order's Assets grid.
In the Work Orders module, click the to expand the desired Work Order record. (The Work Order Category must link to the Water Meter Location module.)
In the Assets grid, select the Meter Set location from which you want to remove a Water Meter.
Click the Toolkit in the Assets grid and select the UninstallMeter Device | Selected Record tool. (This tool is available only when one Meter Set record with an existing Water Meter is selected in the Work Order's Assets grid.) The following pop-up appears:

Enter Reading 1 (required).

Click OK. The system:
Removes the Water Meter from the Meter Set record's Water Flow Meter Set Meter History grid.
Adds a record to the Water Meter's Location History grid indicating the device's removal.
Check Warranties | Selected Record(s)
Checks Lucity for any open Warranties linked to the Work Order Asset record. This tool only applies to Fleet, Equipment, and Facility assets, as those are the only Inventory types that support Warranties.
In the Work Orders module, click the to expand the desired Work Order record.
In the Assets grid, select the Asset record(s) that you'd like to check for warranties.
Click the button in the Assets grid and select the Check Warranties | Selected Record(s) tool. If the following conditions are met, an Open Warranty Notice appears:
The asset's related Fleet, Equipment or Facility inventory record has at least one active record in its Warranty grid; and
the current system date is less than or equal to the Warranty's Expiration Date.
The pop-up displays any open Warranties for the selected asset(s), plus additional details:
Use this screen to review the warranties. Click OK to close the pop-up.
